DOMESTIC STUDENT APPLICATION
Applying to CIHE is straightforward, supportive, and designed to keep things simple. Whether you’re returning to study, changing careers, or building on existing experience, our team is here to guide you at every step.
Who is a domestic student?
You are considered a domestic student if you are:
- An Australian citizen
- A permanent resident of Australia
- A New Zealand citizen
If you are unsure about your status, our admissions team can help you confirm this before you apply.
Step 1: Check your eligibility
Before you start, check that you meet the entry requirements for the course you are interested in. This includes meeting the admission criteria relevant to your circumstances for your selected course. You can find this information on each course page. We note that we are only accepting applicants who are at least 18 years of age at the time of application.
Step 2: Choose your admission pathway
Select the admission pathway that is most relevant to your academic background. If you need help to choose the best pathway, don’t hesitate to reach out to us at courseadvisor@cihe.edu.au
Step 3: Submit your application online
Complete the online application on this page and provide all necessary supporting documents.
Step 4: Confirmation of receipt
We will confirm that we have received your application or request missing supporting documents.
Step 5: Application review
We will review your application after receiving and processing your application. If you are successful, you will receive a Letter of Offer from us outlining your chosen course(s), tuition fees, and our terms and conditions. Depending on your application details, this may be a full or conditional one that requests further documentation.
Step 6: Accept your offer
If you are happy with everything, accept your offer and proceed with any payments outlined in your offer letter. If you are applying for FEE-HELP, you will be sent an electronic Commonwealth Assistance Form (eCAF) after completing your enrolment.
