Kazi S Rashid is a 4th-year PhD candidate at Western Sydney University. Her PhD research examines transnational arranged marriage, migration, and the integration experiences of Bangladeshi-Australian women. Her areas of interest include migration, integration, transnationalism, national identity and belonging, postcolonial feminism, intersectionality, racism and anti-racism, and Islamophobia. Her work employs both quantitative and qualitative approaches, drawing on multidisciplinary research in sociology, geography, migration studies, and postcolonial feminist theory.
