Dr. Reza Rafeh
Associate Dean (ACT Campus), Senior Lecturer, School of IT
Reza Rafeh received his PhD in Computer Science from Monash University. With over 25 years of experience, he has taught a wide range of courses in IT and Computer Science at undergraduate and postgraduate levels and supervised master’s and PhD students in New Zealand, Australia, the UK, Iran, and China. He has held several managerial positions, including Head of the Department of Software Engineering, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and Deputy of Education and Research.
Reza joined Crown Institute of Higher Education in early 2022 as the Associate Dean of ACT and a Senior Lecturer in IT. He has received several teaching excellence awards throughout his career and has over 70 publications to his name. His research interests include wireless sensor network security, machine learning, recommender systems, constraint programming, and blockchain.
Outside his professional work, Reza enjoys walking, going to the gym, exploring new technologies, and cooking.
