Shital Shrestha is an accredited social worker with a Master of Social Work (Qualifying) from Excelsia University College, Australia. She brings over a decade of interdisciplinary experience in research, public health programs, teaching, and administration across Nepal and Australia. Her professional journey reflects a strong commitment to mental health, community well-being, and the integration of social work principles within public health frameworks. Shital has contributed to peer-reviewed research in the areas of mental health and epidemiology, with projects supported by institutions such as the University Grants Commission of Nepal. Her key areas of interest include first responders’ mental health challenges, trauma-informed care, community mental health, and culturally responsive social work practice.
