Census Date
‘Census Date’ is the date set by the Education Provider and is set no earlier than 20% into each teaching term and by which time a student needs to have their enrolment or withdrawal finalised. Census date is the date when students become liable for fees for the subjects that they are enrolled in. This is the last date domestic students can withdraw or change their enrolment without incurring a financial and/or academic penalty. The Census date is the last day a domestic student can apply for a FEE-HELP loan, and the last date that a withdrawal from a unit/course will not incur FEE- HELP financial penalties
