Professional Development
‘Professional Development’ occurs through a range of formal and informal work-related activities which can include: • attendance at webinars, seminars, conferences and workshops • participation in committees or working parties, communities of practice, industry or course meetings. • engagement in mentoring; involvement in Work Integrated Learning; temporarily performing duties in another position; and career counselling; • formal studies at TAFE or programs at undergraduate or postgraduate level • research writing or activity; obtaining a research grant; publishing papers or books. • engagement on external committees or working parties including moderation , benchmarking activity.
