Scholarly activity
‘Scholarly activity’ refers to those activities concerned with gaining new or improved understanding, or appreciation and insights into a field of knowledge, or engaging with and keeping up to date with advances in the field. (TEQSA Guidance Note). The term denotes the broad range of intellectual pursuits and endeavours undertaken by academic staff, including research, publication, creative work, presentations, collaborations, and other contributions that enhance knowledge, innovation, and understanding within a specific academic discipline or field.
