Scholarships
At CIHE Australia, we are committed to increasing access to higher education and recognising academic achievement.
We offer a range of scholarships for eligible domestic and international students. Scholarship availability, eligibility criteria and application processes vary by category.
Scholarships may be awarded on the basis of merit, equity considerations, or eligibility criteria relating to specific regions or strategic initiatives. All scholarships are subject to availability, eligibility requirements and terms and conditions.
Scholarships apply to tuition fees only unless otherwise stated.
Domestic student scholarships
CIHE Australia provides scholarships to eligible domestic students commencing undergraduate, postgraduate or research programs.
Scholarships apply to tuition fees only and are subject to availability, eligibility criteria and terms and conditions. All applicants must meet the standard program entry requirements.
Dean’s List Scholarship
Awarded to continuing students based on academic performance at CIHE Australia.
Value (applied per semester):
- High Distinction average – 15% tuition reduction
- Distinction average – 10% tuition reduction
Conditions:
- Applies from the second semester of study onwards
- Students must maintain the relevant academic average each semester to retain eligibility
- Scholarship applies to tuition fees only
Future Leaders Scholarship
Recognises demonstrated leadership, community engagement or extracurricular contribution.
Value:
Up to 20% tuition fee reduction for the duration of the program.
Eligibility:
- Evidence of leadership, community involvement or extracurricular participation
- Supporting documentation required at application
Conditions:
- Interview with the Executive Dean and Head of School
- Continued satisfactory academic progress required
Young Men and Women in Business & Technology Scholarship
Available to eligible students enrolling in:
- Bachelor of Information Technology
- Bachelor of Entrepreneurship & Innovation
Value:
Up to 30% tuition fee reduction for the duration of the program.
Eligibility:
- Completion of Business Studies, Economics, or Information Processes & Technology (IPT) in Years 11 and 12
- Demonstrated interest in business, innovation or technology
- Submission of relevant school reports
Conditions:
- Interview with the Executive Dean and Head of School
- Continued satisfactory academic progress required
Access & Equity Scholarship
Designed to support students experiencing financial disadvantage.
Value:
Up to 30% tuition fee reduction for the duration of the program.
Eligibility:
- Demonstrated financial hardship
- Strong academic performance in Years 11 and 12
- Supporting documentation required (e.g. Centrelink statement or equivalent evidence)
Conditions:
- Interview with the Executive Dean and Head of School
- Continued satisfactory academic progress required
Indicative savings will vary depending on the program and study load.
ATAR Advantage Scholarship
Recognises strong secondary school achievement.
Value:
Additional $2,000 tuition fee reduction.
Eligibility:
- ATAR of 65 or above
- Official ATAR documentation required
This scholarship may be awarded in addition to other eligible scholarships, subject to CIHE Australia approval.
Gold and Silver Scholarships
Awarded on the basis of academic performance in Year 11.
Gold Scholarship:
Up to 100% tuition fee remission, subject to approval.
Silver Scholarship:
Up to 50% tuition fee remission, subject to approval.
Eligibility:
- Strong Year 11 academic results
- Interview with the Executive Dean and Head of School
These scholarships are limited and awarded at the discretion of CIHE Australia.
International student scholarships
CIHE Australia offers scholarships for eligible international students commencing study in Australia.
International scholarships may recognise academic achievement or support students from selected regions.
