Crown Institution of Higher Education (CIHE) Partners with FITDOJO to Boost Student Fitness

CIHE is pleased to announce its collaboration with FIT DOJO, a local martial arts club founded by CIHE alumnus Sabin Subedi. The aim is to promote fitness and wellbeing among current CIHE students by introducing them to martial arts and self-defence.

Under this partnership, FIT DOJO will work alongside CIHE’s Fitness Club to teach students self-defence techniques and martial arts. They will offer free sessions to CIHE students, allowing them to experience the physical and mental benefits of martial arts.

Dr. Narayan, CEO of CIHE, stated, “This program will help students gain confidence, discipline, physical fitness, focus, and self-control, which will help them in both academic and professional lives”.

FIT DOJO has a strong history of offering martial arts training in Australian public schools and mentoring individuals from different countries to become instructors in Australia.

Sabin Subedi, founder of FIT DOJO and a CIHE alumnus, commented, “We’re excited to work with CIHE’s students and help them discover the benefits of martial arts and self-defence.”

The MOU was signed on November 1, 2023, and the program begins immediately. CIHE students are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to enhance their wellbeing.
