At CIHE, community isn’t just a concept—it’s a living, breathing reality that enriches every aspect of student life. As the days unfolded in April 2024, the campuses in Sydney and Canberra came alive with a vibrant tapestry of cultures, traditions, and celebrations. It was a time when diversity wasn’t just acknowledged but celebrated with open arms.
From the joyous festivities of Eid to the colorful spectacles of Nepalese and Bengali New Year, and the spirited gatherings marking South and South-East Asia’s Solar Calendar New Year, CIHE embraced every occasion as an opportunity to foster unity and understanding among its students.
As the campus buzzed with anticipation, it was clear that something special was in the air. The classrooms transformed into festive cheers, adorned with bright decorations and fluttering balloons, setting the stage for a celebration unlike any other.
“What’s going on?” whispered curious students, their eyes gleaming with excitement. The answer was simple: a grand party extravaganza was about to unfold, promising an afternoon of laughter, camaraderie, and cherished memories.
The festivities boasted a delightful spread of food, from tantalizing snacks to refreshing drinks, ensuring that every palate was catered to. And amidst the music, a makeshift dance floor beckoned students to dance.
