Supporting the World’s Greatest Shave at the Pacific Highway Library
The Pacific Highway Library will host a special fundraising event in support of the Leukemia Foundation’s World’s Greatest Shave. Executive Dean, Professor Grant Jones, will undergo a head shave, with Deputy Dean Dr. Asal Al-Odat taking on the role of barber. This symbolic gesture highlights the commitment to raising awareness and funds for life-saving blood cancer research. Professor Jones has been growing his hair for the past year and, after much consideration and community encouragement, has chosen to make this personal sacrifice for a greater cause. His current fundraising total stands at $800, with hopes of increasing contributions through this event. With the holiday season approaching, this initiative offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact. A donation toward this cause can serve as a heartfelt gift to those currently battling blood cancer and those who may face it in the future. How to Contribute Join Grant in supporting this vital cause by making a donation. Every contribution helps advance research and brings hope to those affected by blood cancer. Thank you for making a difference.
